- I'm Youri Picart, french photographer...
I was born in 1984 and qualified as a photographer in 2004.
I started my career by working for several photographers in the South of France, and also in Spain. But I soon got tired of working just to pay the rent, so I changed direction and decided that I would rather earn my living by means of my own work, but I also decided that my life would be about my photos. I'm smitten by the travelling bug, so the most natural thing for me to do was to combine my two passions. Over the past few years, I have undertaken several trips to the Balkans, India and Caucasia – in all I visited some 15 countries, mostly hitch-hiking with my trusty viewfinder…
