And Mexico is beautiful, and just because it's my country too. I've been to Africa. I went on a humanitarian mission to the Democratic Republic of Congo in the summer of 2006. It was amazing and a bit scary.

At 2:28pm on September 1, 2008, Roxana Vasquez said…: I am currently a photo intern at the Arizona Daily Star Newspaper in Tucson, AZ. And I am covering daily assignments, but I am currently working on a story in Mexico. Tucson is one hour away from Mexico. Factories (Machiladoras) in Nogales, Sonora Mex. are a big thing, I want to photograph families, people and how it affects them because pay is low. People don't get paid much. So that is my main photo project, but other than that I am also a journalism student at the university and I also work with the student newspaper. I have a very busy life. But as long as I am photographing I am happy.

Have you ever been to America?
