- About Me:
- Matt McLoone, 21, originally from Minneapolis, Minnesota, began photographing while in junior high school. In August of 2006 he packed his belongings into his car and drove across country to Ventura, California where he enrolled in the Visual Journalism program at Brooks Institute in September, 2006. On becoming a photojournalist Matt says, "there was never really an alternative. From day one, when I first picked up the camera I knew that there was no other career choice for me." His future plans, after graduation in August 2009, include pursuing work in newspapers while also seeking long-term documentary projects both locally and abroad.
