The book will be self published and in limited number. I have contacted heaps of publishers and there was some interest but I have chosen to self published because I want total control what goes in and what doesnt. There was some interest so it wouldnt be a problem to get a publisher on board. I think you should do a dummy and set it out the way you think the final book should look like and set up some meetings..
There are 60 images and 20 pages of text. I think the best way to approach it is to edit hard and get your best images into a dummy and try to set up some meetings with publishers close to you. I dont think its a good idea to contact the big publishers right away. Also I found if you have some contacts with an agent that might help as well. Random house has a great way of submitting, although being a big publisher its a bit tricky to get through.
At the end of the day you should also look into self publishing. I dont think it would be hard to find sponsors, depends what and to whom the book will appeal to. I think it is highlly likelly that you would succeed this way if this is your first book. Or what i found is that smaller publishers were more interested and were willing to meet me.
Its not easy but its worth a try no matter what.

The book is a project I have been working on for a while now. It deals with illegal immigration and human trafficing. It is very art photography and design based. Very removed what I usually work on but it has developed in such a way that I could go many different directions but I have decided to keep it very art focused. It was all shot with Hasselblad so 6x6 images...I havent post any on my web site because I just dont have to time to resize and because there are two images that create one, there is just too much work at the moment. When I get everything in order I will post some.
Busy here as well... Getting ready for my trip to Europe in SEP, putting together a book which is taking a lot of my time..Leaving in 4 weeks and the book hasnt even been printed so I am pushing it very close...As far as IPN goes, I dont know man, something drastic will have to happen if it is to survive...I just dont know what that is....
