- Marc Schroeder (b. in Luxembourg, 1974) started his professional career in investment banking in 1998. He first worked in London and was later transferred to New York, where the capitalist joyride came to an abrupt halt as the credit crunch hit the banking sector. The redundancy came as a welcome opportunity for Marc to start pursuing what he had always wanted to do: photography.
Marc discovered his passion for photography after his first trip to Asia and practiced it as a hobby whenever his full-time job at the bank allowed. In the summer of 2008 Marc decided to turn what so far had been a passionate hobby into a full-time job; or rather, at a minimum, give it his best shot.
