- About Me:
- Justin grew up in Rhode Island with a journalism background from San Francisco State University. During his time in San Francisco Justin received the Greg Robinson Memorial Award, given to the College Photographer of the Year for San Francisco and the Bay Area. In 2007 he was accepted into the Eddie Adams Workshop in New York and won the Nikon Emerging Professional Scholarship for the University of Missouri Photo Workshop along with 4 awards(1 Gold) for CPOY in 2007. In 2008 his documentary work was recognized by PDN and he was awarded the Marty Forscher Fellowship(Professional Category)for humanistic photography given by sponsored by Parsons The New School for Design. In 2008 Justin was also nominated for the World Press Photo Joop Swart Masterclass.

I entered this DREAM ASSIGNMENT contest late but I have 500 votes right now and I'm ranked 35th. To make the finals I need about 700 votes, i need one final push. I'm asking you all to please help me by encouraging anyone you know at work, family, etc to take 1 minute and vote for me. The deadline is Friday and I need one final surge!!!! Can you please post this in you facebook status for me too.

in my opion its very valueable to shot photos from social issue´s, because with these photos you can reach the people all over the world. and i think in every neighbourhood are social problems reality and you can advise people to these things and question himself how should they live their life....and maybe through these works they start carring about someone else and become better human beings.
