Born in Talcahuano, Chile in 1978. He began his photography studies in 2000 in the ARCOS Institute in Santiago, Chile, choosing black and white as his primary medium. He graduated in 2004 with a specialization in documentary photography and graphic reporting. Since 2004 he has worked independently for agencies and publications.
